Freedom on the Fence is a 40 minute documentary, exploring the history of Polish posters and their significance to the social, poltical and cultural life of Poland. The film examines the period from WWII through the fall of Communism, and captures the paradox of how this unique art form flourished within a Communist regime.
The film contains interviews with many leading Polish poster artists, including a rare interview with one of the great masters of the Polish poster, Henryk Tomaszewski.
